The Hon. Joseph Nuss
The Honourable Joseph R. Nuss, C.M., Q.C., Ad. E., F.C.IArb , is a former Justice of the Quebec Court of Appeal. He joined Woods LLP, as Senior Counsel, in December 2009 following his retirement from the Court. In addition to giving advice as senior counsel, he concentrates his practice in the fields of domestic and international arbitration and mediation.
Francine Wiseman
Francine Nelson (Wiseman) obtained a civil law and a common law degree from McGill University. She has practised in the areas of tax and corporate law for over 30 years, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, cross-border tax planning, trusts and estate planning.
Matthew Bilmes
Matthew Bilmes is engaged in a broad income tax and commercial law practice. He has developed a particular expertise in advising clients of the income tax aspects of personal, estate and family business succession planning.
Morris Jacobson
Morris Jacobson is the Managing Shareholder of Spiegel Sohmer. He is a member of the firm’s tax group, and a leading expert in the field of Trusts.
